Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flake coconut
1 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Sift flour with salt.
Add flour alternately with milk to creamed mixture, beating after each addition.
Add coconut, lemon and vanilla.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until cake is done.
Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
Serves 12.
