Butter Pecan Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 1/4 to 3 1/2 c. flour
    1 beaten egg
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 c. sugar
    6 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/3 c. pecans
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water.
    Combine hot milk, shortening, sugar and salt.
    Cool
    to
    lukewarm.
    Add 1 cup of flour. Beat in softened yeast and\tegg.
    Add
    rest
    of
    flour to form soft dough. Cover and let
    rise
    until
    doubled.
    Turn out on lightly floured surface and
    divide
    in half.
    Roll each piece into a 12 x 8-inch rectangle, 3/8-inch thick.\tBrush each with melted butter. Combine
    sugar and cinnamon.
    Sprinkle half on each rectangle. Beginning
    with
    long
    side,
    roll jelly roll fashion.
    Cut into 8 (1-inch) slices.
    In
    each of two 9 1/2 x 5
    x 3-inch pans, mix brown
    sugar,
    corn
    syrup\tand
    melted butter.
    Sprinkle with pecans
    and
    place\trolls
    on top.\tLet rise until doubled.
    Bake at 400\u00b0.
    Remove immediately.
