Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. or more onions, sliced
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 to 1 c. sour cream
    1 1/4 c. cornbread stuffing mix
    1/2 c. cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Cook onions in butter in a large skillet until transparent and golden.
    Place onions in a casserole dish; top with a mixture of sour cream, soup, cheese and 1 cup of bread stuffing.
    Sprinkle 1/4 cup of stuffing over top; dot with butter.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes, until bubbly.
