Sweet Chunk Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

50 good size pickles
4 c. sugar
3 c. water
4 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. mixed spices
Preparation

Cut pickles into chunks; put into weak brine overnight.
In the morning, boil remaining sugar and water until mixture strings. Heat vinegar and mixed spices.
Put boiling sugar into hot vinegar, then place pickles into this (mixed hot vinegar and sugar).
Heat and can.
Do not cook or boil pickles.
