Marinated Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    about 6 small squash
    Romano or Parmesan cheese (optional)
    bottled Italian salad dressing
Preparation
    Place thinly sliced, washed, raw squash in a large jar.
    Pack tightly as possible.
    Cover with bottled dressing to within 1/2-inch top of jar.
    Cheeses may be added if desired.
    Refrigerate about 2 weeks.
    The squash will be firm and crunchy.
