Oatmeal Waffles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    6 Tbsp. butter, melted
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, stir together flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; set aside.
    In small mixing bowl, stir together eggs, milk, butter and brown sugar.
    Add to flour mixture; stir until blended.
    Pour batter onto grid of preheated, lightly greased waffle iron.
    Close lid quickly, do not open during baking.
    Top with fresh fruit and yogurt.
    Yields 12 waffles.
