Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3 egg yolks
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 oz. coconut
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 baked pie crust
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks with a whisk.
    Add the milk to egg yolks and mix well.
    Mix cornstarch with sugar.
    Add this to the egg mixture.
    Cook until it thickens, then add
    margarine, vanilla and coconut.
    Pour this in a baked pie crust.
