Chicago Cheese Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
    10 green onions, chopped
    1 c. slivered almonds, toast in broiler until lightly browned
    1 c. light mayonnaise (a little at a time; may not need to use it all)
Preparation
    Mix and serve at room temperature.
    Mound on plate or in bowl to serve.
    It's fairly salty.
    Serve on wheat crackers or bagel chips.
