Corn Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. melted shortening
2 c. whole kernel corn
shortening for frying
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except corn, blending until smooth. Fold in corn.
In large frying pan heat shortening and drop the batter by tablespoons into the very hot shortening.
Fry until brown on both sides.
Serves 6.
