Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. dried mint (more or less to taste)
1/2 tsp. mint extract
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Combine all wet ingredients and mix well.
Roll out dough to 1/8 inch.
Cut with a cookie cutter.
Sprinkle with sugar if desired.
Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 15 minutes.
