Gravy Baked Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lean pork chops
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Turn on oven and set at 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle pork chops with 1/4 teaspoon salt and a few grains of pepper.
    Brown chops on both sides in 10-inch skillet over medium heat in one tablespoon hot shortening.
    Drain off drippings.
    Pour around chops a mixture of 1 can cream of mushroom soup, evaporated milk and water.
    Bake at 45 minutes or until chops are tender.
    Stir gravy well.
    Serves 4.
