Cranberry Chip Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening (margarine)
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. fresh cut cranberries
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chocolate or butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening until light and creamy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add vanilla, then flour, baking powder and salt.
    Stir until blended.
    Fold in cranberries, nuts and chips.
    Spread in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
