Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1/2 soup can water
    1 lb. ground beef
    2/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 Tbsp. minced dill pickle (optional)
Preparation
    Blend celery soup with water.
    Reserve 1/4 cup soup mixture. Combine remaining soup mixture with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, parsley and salt.
    Shape into balls, 1-inch in diameter. Brown in shortening in large skillet.
    Add reserved soup mixture and dill pickle.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Yields 4 servings.
