Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco or Snowdrift
6 eggs
3 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation

Cream butter and shortening.
Add sugar and cream well.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour and milk.
Mix well but do not overbeat.
Add flavorings.
Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/3 hours.
