Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
    4 egg yolks
    3 1/2 Tbsp. hot water
    4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. grated carrots
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix oil, nuts, sugar, carrots, egg yolks and hot water.
    Sift together dry ingredients and combine with others.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Bake in a tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup orange juice.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour over cooled cake.
