Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 1/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    5 Tbsp. ice water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour and salt.
    Combine egg, water and vinegar.
    Add all at once to flour mixture.
    Blend until flour is moistened.
    Yields three (9-inch) pie shells.
    Can be frozen.
