Nonnie'S Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 Tbsp. baking soda
Preparation

Blend flour, sugars, and shortening.
Reserve 1 1/2 cup of flour mixture for topping.\tAdd milk and baking soda together until soda is dissolved.\tAdd to remaining flour mixture, along with eggs, baking powder and salt.
Blend until all is moistened. Batter will be lumpy.
Pour into greased 9 inch x 13 inch pan. Place reserved flour mixture on top.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
