Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Sift together the dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening and add milk slowly.
    Drop by spoonfuls on top of stew.
    Cover tightly and cook 12 minutes.
