Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. dark Karo syrup
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    4 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 to 1 1/2 c. pecans, coarsely broken
    1 unbaked pie crust
Preparation
    Boil sugar and syrup about 2 minutes.
    Pour slowly over beaten eggs, stirring vigorously.
    Add margarine, vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into unbaked crust.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake for 40 minutes.
