Swedish Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. granular yeast or 1 cake compressed yeast
    1/3 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. scalded milk, cooled
    3 2/3 to 4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. melted butter, cooled to lukewarm
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. chopped dates
    6 candied cherries
Preparation
    Soften yeast in lukewarm water for 5 minutes.
    Then add lukewarm milk and about half of the flour to make a soft batter. Beat well.
    Cover and let rise in a warm place until double.
    Add sugar, salt, melted butter, raisins, pecans, dates, cherries and remaining flour.
    Place dough in bowl and let rise until double. Shape into a loaf.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 45 minutes longer.
