Mild Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh tomatoes, chopped (meat only, no seeds)
    1/2 c. onion
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    3 Tbsp. chili peppers, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 clove garlic, mashed
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Cook to boiling; add 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 1/4 cup cold water.
    Cook, stirring, until clear and a bit thickened.
    I do this recipe 4 times to make a batch to can, usually 5 pints. Put in hot sterilized jars and seal.
