Old Fashioned Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 c. pumpkin (canned or fresh cooked)
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    2 to 3 Tbsp. molasses
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/3 c. milk
    1 (8 or 9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
Preparation
    In mixing bowl combine pumpkin, sugar, cornstarch, salt, ginger and cinnamon.
    Blend in molasses, eggs and milk.
    Pour into pastry-lined pie plate.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 to 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
    Makes 8 servings.
