Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. raw nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, hot water and syrup.
    Cook until it spins a thread from spoon.
    Add nuts and cook without stirring until it turns golden yellow.
    Add butter and soda; remove from heat.
    Beat or stir quickly by hand and pour on greased foil.
    Break into pieces when cool.
