Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
2 c. sweet milk
3 Tbsp. butter
pinch of salt
1 can coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Use the 3 egg yolks and save the whites for the meringue. Beat eggs until light.
Add sugar, milk and flour.
Cook until thick in double boiler.
Add butter, vanilla and coconut.
Pour into baked pie crust.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Add 6 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 tablespoons water. Beat again until all ingredients are mixed.
Spread on pie and bake until brown in slow oven.
