Sweet Potato Biscuit - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour (self-rising)
1/3 c. shortening
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
3/4 c. (about) buttermilk
Preparation

Sift flour.
Cut in shortening.
Add sweet potatoes and stir in milk, more if necessary, to make a stiff dough.
Toss dough on floured board or cloth and knead lightly.
Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut with floured cutter or roll out with hands.
Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven until golden brown.
