Sinful Chocolate Chip Nut Tart - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 (15 oz.) pkg. folded refrigerated unbaked pie crust (1 crust)
    3 eggs
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. butter, melted and cooled
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. salted mixed nuts, coarsely chopped
    1/2 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1/3 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Let refrigerated pie crust sit at room temperature according to package directions.
    Ease pastry into an 11-inch tart pan with removable bottom.
    Trim pastry even with the rim of the pan.
    Do not prick pastry.
