Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    4 to 5 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 c. hot milk
    3 eggs, separated
    salt (pinch)
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour, cocoa and salt together.
    Add hot milk, stirring constantly.
    Cook over medium heat until mixture is thick; continue stirring.
    Beat egg yolks slightly; add them to the hot liquid slowly.
    (A teaspoon of vanilla flavoring can be added.)
    Add butter.
    Continue cooking and stirring until mixture is thick.
    Cool, then put into pastry shell; cover with meringue made from egg whites.
    Bake in oven at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 until brown.
