Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
    1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. oatmeal
    12 oz. (2 c.) chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
    Add flour, baking soda and salt and mix well.
    Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips; mix well.
    Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 10 minutes.
    Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, then remove to wire rack.
    Cool completely.
    Yields about 4 dozen cookies.
