Quick Apricot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dried apricots (uncooked)
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    prepared crust for 2 crust 9-inch pie
Preparation
    Put apricots through food chopper.
    Combine fruit, water, sugar, salt, lemon juice and butter.
    Bring to boil; cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Prepare pie crust according to directions; pour in filling.
    Cover with strips of pastry.
    Bake in moderately hot oven (425\u00b0) for 30 minutes, or until done. Serves 6 to 8.
