Creamed Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. cabbage (approximately 1 head, depending on size)
2 celery stalks
1/2 carrot (for color)
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
pepper to taste
Preparation

Remove heart and bad leaves from cabbage.
Shred remaining head.
Chop celery and carrots very fine.
Mix
vinegar, sugar and mayonnaise together.
Add all dry ingredients.
Combine in a bowl with shredded vegetables.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
For best results, allow to stand overnight.
