Peanut Butter Crunchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. each: shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar and white sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar and white sugar with vanilla and egg.
    Stir in flour, soda and salt.
    Make into balls; flatten with a fork dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    May use margarine for the shortening, but not corn oil margarine.
