Aunt Hettie'S Boiled Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. milk or cream
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients with milk and butter in double boiler. Heat until smooth like a white sauce.
    Gradually add hot vinegar. Stir until thickened.
    Pour into the beaten eggs.
    Return to double boiler and cook gently.
    Then strain.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Add a small amount of milk to thin for salad.
