Flaky Pastry Appetizers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter
    4 oz. (1/2 of 8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1 c. flour
    2 cans (about 3 oz. each) Spam spread, liver pate, chicken spread, pate of anchovies or smoked oysters
Preparation
    Mix butter, cream cheese and flour until blended.
    Roll dough into rectangle (16 x 14) on lightly floured cloth covered board. Cut into 2-inch squares.
    Place 1/2 teaspoon on one edge of each square; roll up.
    Place seam side down on baking sheet.
    Bake 12 minutes at 450\u00b0 or until golden brown.
    Serve hot if desired. Serve with carrot sticks, cauliflowerets, celery sticks and olives.
    Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
