Ingredients

1 c. chopped dates
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. cornflakes
1 c. Rice Krispies
coconut
Preparation

Take the first 3 ingredients and put in heavy skillet over medium flame.
Stir constantly until mixture pulls away from sides of skillet (about 5 minutes).
Take from flame and stir in vanilla, chopped nuts, cornflakes, and Rice Krispies.
Dip hands in cold water and roll mixture into balls.
Roll balls in coconut.
