Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. softened butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    cinnamon and sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs. Add mixture of flour, salt and cream of tartar; mix well.
    Shape into balls. Roll in cinnamon and sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes or until light brown.
    Yield: 5 dozen.
