Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie crust
    1 qt. strawberries, sliced
    2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. strawberry jello
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Mix together sugar, jello and cornstarch and add water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Boil slowly 10 minutes, then cool completely.
    Put sliced berries in cooled crust.
    Pour jello mixture over berries. Put in refrigerator.
    Top with Cool Whip.
    Makes 2 small pies or 1 large deep dish pie.
