Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 apples, peeled and sliced thin
    1/2 c. sugar
    8 oz. crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
    8 oz. container Cool Whip
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    1 c. dry roasted peanuts
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar,
    pineapple
    juice, egg and vinegar in saucepan.
    Stir over
    medium heat until very thick.
    Refrigerate until completely cool.
    As\tyou slice apples, combine with sauce and coat all
    apples.
    Fold
    in pineapple, Cool Whip and half of peanuts.
    Mix thoroughly; pour into bowl.
    Put remaining peanuts on top.
    Refrigerate.
