Cream Cheese Muffin Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 ounce package cream cheese-cut in 10 cubes
1 tube (10) buttermilk or country refrigerator biscuits
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation

In a small bowl combine sugar, cinnamon, and almond extract. In another small bowl combine melted butter and vanilla.
Press or roll biscuit into a 3 inch circle.
Dip cheese cube into butter mixture, and then in sugar mixture.
Place cube in middle of biscuit, fold edges over cube, sealing well.
Dip sealed biscuit in butter mixture, and then in sugar mixture.
Place seam side down in ungreased muffin pan.
Repeat with rest of cream cheese and biscuits.
Bake 12 - 18 minutes in a 375 degree oven until golden brown.
