Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. applesauce
    1 c. broken pecans
    1 c. chopped dates (optional)
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
    Add applesauce.
    Add pecans and dates, which have been dredged in 1/4 cup of the measured flour.
    Sift all dry ingredients together and add to the mixture.
    Pour into a greased and floured Bundt or tube pan and bake 2 hours in a 325\u00b0 oven.
