Strawberry Freezer Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. or 2 c. strawberries
    4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1 box powdered pectin
Preparation
    Wash and hull berries.\tCompletely crush one layer at a time. Measure into large bowl.
    Add sugar to berries and mix well. Combine 3/4 cup water and powdered pectin in saucepan.
    Bring to boil and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Stir in fruit mixture.
    Continue stirring 3 minutes (a few sugar crystals will remain).
    Quickly ladle into sterile jars.\tCover at once with tight lids.
    (No paraffin necessary.)
    Set at room temperature. Takes up to 24 hours to set.
    Store in freezer.
    Makes 6 medium jars.
