Picante Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. peanut oil
    1 onion, chopped
    2 carrots sliced
    2 to 3 boneless chicken breasts, cut in strips
    1 bell pepper, sliced in strips
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ginger
    2 garlic cloves
    1 can water chestnuts
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. warm water
    1 (16 oz.) jar picante sauce
Preparation
    Prepare vegetables and chicken.
    Saute garlic and ginger in oil.
    Add chicken and vegetables.
    Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
    Reduce heat.
    Add water and cornstarch mixture.
    Allow it to begin thickening.
    Pour in picante sauce.
