Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 sticks butter or margarine
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. sliced apples (about 3 medium apples), cut thin
    1 c. raisins
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon (more if desired)
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour and other dry ingredients.
    Blend.
    Add apples, nuts and raisins. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cut into squares and serve with any desired topping such as ice cream, hard sauce or whipped cream.
