Pecan Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Granny Smith (green) apples
    1/2 stick margarine
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon/sugar mixture
    3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
    1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Core and cut up apples.
    Do not peel.
    Place in pan; add 3/4 cup water.
    Cook until tender; add margarine, white sugar, brown sugar, sugar/cinnamon mixture and cornstarch, mixed with milk (small amount).
    Cook until mixture begins to thicken. Place in pie shell in well-greased pan.
    Pour pecans evenly over the pie and cook at 350\u00b0 for approximately 30 minutes or until crust browns evenly or pecans have browned.
