Christmas Salad(Party) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 lb. can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 medium bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water; fold in strawberries.
    Mix pineapple, bananas and nuts.
    Add to gelatin.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture into a 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Spread sour cream on top of chilled mixture.
    Pour rest of mixture over sour cream. Chill.
