Broccoli And Crab Bisque(Yields 6 To 8 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sliced leeks or onion
    1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 c. fresh or frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
    1 clove minced garlic
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 small bay leaf
    3 c. chicken broth
    1 c. light cream
    3/4 c. shredded Jarlsberg or Swiss cheese (3 oz.)
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen crab meat, thawed and drained
Preparation
    In a 3-quart saucepan cook leeks, mushrooms, broccoli and garlic in butter or margarine until crisp-tender.
    Blend in flour, thyme, 1/8 teaspoon salt, pepper and bay leaf.
    Add chicken broth and cream all at once.
    Cook and stir 1 minute more.
    Add cheese. Stir until cheese is melted.
    Add crab meat.
    Heat through.
