Chicken Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large chickens, cooked and deboned
    2 c. shortening
    4 c. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 tsp. red pepper
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    6 bundles green onions, cut up
    2 or 3 cans okra and tomatoes
Preparation
    Cook shortening and flour on low heat in skillet, stirring constantly, until dark brown. Add salt, pepper and red pepper during browning. Add remaining ingredients and water. Cook slowly for 2 hours.
