Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. white syrup
1 c. water
1 lb. short shred unsweetened coconut
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. flavoring (of your choice)
Preparation

Cook sugar, syrup and water to soft ball stage (238\u00b0).
Remove from heat and add butter, flavoring and as much dry coconut as the syrup will absorb.
Cool on a large platter.
When cool enough to handle, make into small ball (3/4-inch).
Dip into chocolate or white almond bark coating.
