Apricot Tea Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried apricots
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1 large egg
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cover apricots with warm water for 30 minutes.
    Drain and cut into small pieces.
    Sift together next four ingredients and set aside.
    Mix next five ingredients together well.
    Add sifted ingredients to sugar mixture with apricot pieces and walnuts.
    Mix until flour is just dampened.
    Pour into greased and floured pan (8 1/4 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes until lightly browned.
    Turn out on wire rack.
