Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. unbleached white flour
3/4 c. whole grain stone ground corn meal *
4 Tbsp. sugar
5 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Sift together all dry ingredients.
Beat egg with milk and add to the flour mixture, along with the melted butter.
Stir everything up well.
Spread batter in a greased 9-inch pie dish. Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until lightly browned on edges.
Serve hot with butter.
