Cheese Ring - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. finely grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. finely minced chopped onion
dash of black pepper
dash of cayenne
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (12 oz.) jar strawberry preserves
Preparation

Blend thoroughly all ingredients except preserves.
Pam a 3-cup ring mold.
Press ingredients into mold and refrigerate overnight or at least two hours.
Unmold by carefully dipping right below top into hot water for 20 seconds.
Place plate on top and invert.
You may have to dip in hot water several times.
When you invert plate leave it for several minutes and it will release. Put preserves in center when ready to serve.
Surround with crackers and a cheese spreader.
